Meet Chef Surbhi Sahni
TAGMO, which means tigress in Bhutanese, started with a literal dream that Surbhi had about a tigress. In South Asian culture, the tigress is an iconic symbol of feminine strength. She represents a type of power that protects rather than harms. The word ‘TAGMO’ embodies this feminine energy that guides TAGMO. We want to collaborate, not compete – not make space for just ourselves, but other people around us!
TAGMO’s catering experience is inspired by Chef Surbhi’s own knowledge navigating the world of culinary arts in both the United States and India – she marries both cultures in a symphony of flavors and explosion of taste, bringing a new understanding to modern Indian fare and breathing new life into catered events, Indian (ish) or otherwise! Her signature delicacies on the catering menu include Indian chaat-cuterie boards, bespoke mithai, mouthwatering Indian buffets, and fun global bites like chicken momos and spinach empanadas!
