General Questions

  • Yes! At TAGMO, we use locally sourced ingredients from the New York metropolitan area whenever feasible.

  • We can accommodate all dietary restrictions as long as we are given ample notice. We have catered fully vegan weddings, provided nut-free and gluten-free conference lunches, and prepared dairy- and soy-free food for business meetings. We offer comprehensive vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus.

  • TAGMO uses halal meat in all our halal dishes. Our kitchen is not currently kosher certified.

  • Of course! We offer tastings for any event above 100 guests. The tasting fee (depending on the number of items tasted) will be applied as a credit to your booking if you decide to move forward with our catering. We look forward to seeing you at our location at 226 Front street for the tasting!.

  • Absolutely. We take allergies very seriously, and all gluten-free/nut-free meals are prepared by our chefs using designated equipment so as not to cross-contaminate. 

  • Our event menus are perfect for all kinds of dinner events from large-scale gala fundraisers, to more intimate dinner parties, and everything in between.

  • We offer all styles of service from circulated, seated, reception, family-style, picnic, banquet and much more.

  • Yes! Planning catering menus is a specialty of ours. Our chef and team have been planning catering menus for events and occasions in New York City since 2010, making us expert catering menu planners.

  • This depends on your event and we are happy to discuss this with you. Generally, a traditional plated dinner includes three courses: an appetizer, an entree, and a plated dessert.

  • Yes! We are happy to accommodate any preferences and dietary restrictions.

  • We unfortunately do not include alcohol in our menus at this time.

Luncheon Q&A

  • The best lunch is one that your lunch crowd will like the most! Lunch guests usually want something that is easy to eat, not too heavy, and above all food that is delicious. We recommend our special Indian-ly menu that features fork friendly salads, non-messy sandwiches, and elegant rice bowls – all guaranteed to be crowd pleasers!

  • Corporate lunches should be quick and easy – bonus points if it’s healthy! We recommend perusing our Mini-bites and Plates menu that has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options that are also culturally diverse.

  • Our recommendation would be the room temperature lunch package to offer your guests a variety of flavors and options – especially if it’s a hot summer day.

  • Galas and fundraisers are meant to be extravagant with lots of delicious options that fill you up and tickle the tastebuds – we recommend our buffet menu that is Indian forward and will knock your event out of the park!
